Betsy McKeever
Director Betsy McKeever manages the day-to-day operation and is responsible for the delivery of the teaching curriculum and managing the staff of teachers and specialists. She has been with the Co-op for more than 25 years, first as a teacher, then as director since 1992. All three of her children are Co-op graduates.

Betsy received a BA in Elementary Education from Westminster College and her Early Childhood certification from Kean University. She has taken graduate courses in Early Education from William Paterson University.

Peggie Cutter
After an 18 year career in the corporate world, Peggie came to the Co-op in 1991 with her daughter Courtney and has been here almost every day since!! After a short break when Courtney graduated, she returned to the school as an aide and worked in the various classrooms until moving to the office where she greets every child with a smile!

Susan Chong
Susan is a CPA who has worked in public accounting for 11 years. Both of her children have attended the Co-op. She is happy to be back at the Co-Op serving as the bookkeeper for the past three years. In her role, she deposits all the checks (tuition, lunch bunch field trips, etc.) that come in, as well as write checks to pay all of the school's bills.

Teachers/Aides
Janet Carr
Janet graduated from Rider College with a BA degree as a Fine Arts Major and received a Teaching Certificate in Pre-School Education from Montclair State. For 12 years, she taught at the Playhouse Co-op Preschool in their “All Day School” classroom. Janet has been with the Morris Plains Co-Op for 17 years, teaching the 2-Morning class, Wednesday Lunch and Learn and the Summer Fun Program.

Arlina Osborne
Arlina graduated Rowan University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in early childhood. She has been with the Co-op for 18 years, having taught Just the Two of Us, Step-Up, the 2-Morning class, the 3-Afternoon class and Lunch Bunch/Extended Day.

Melissa Gringeri
Melissa has a Master’s in Education with a focus on Special Education from Rutgers University. She’s been teaching at the Co-op since 2010 and is proud to have had four children who are all Co-op graduates.

Mary Ellen Hackett
MaryEllen graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with her Masters in the Arts of Teaching. She worked in elementary schools in South Amboy and Chatham. She is bi-lingual and has been teaching the 3-year-old preschool class at the Polish Supplementary School in Clark for more than 10 years. She has been with the Co-op for two years.

Joann Holick
Joann ran her own daycare for 10 years before joining the Co-op as a mom. She began her aide duties while her children attended and has been with the Co-op ever since!

Carol Scullin
Carol has been with the Co-op since 1973 when her then 4-year old daughter attended the school. Her daughter’s twin boys also attended the Co-op, allowing Carol to be back in the classroom co-oping. Since then, Carol has been an aide for 16 years and loves being part of the children’s lives. She plans on staying at the Co-op as long as she can, “Criss-Cross Applesauce!”
